The Synology DiskStation DS124 1-Bay NAS Enclosure is a tiny storage hub that allows for smooth data centralization, organization, and sharing, as well as bringing distributed data under control. License-free Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) solutions allow you to establish a secure private cloud, effortlessly access data from any device, and collaborate with partners or clients. The DS124 NAS Storage features one disk bay that can natively support 3.5" SATA hard drives as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs. This NAS can store and distribute a large quantity of data via its two drive bays, which can hold up to 2048 user accounts and 1500 continuous connections. The DS124 is powered by Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, a browser-based operating system that aids in the management of your Synology NAS. Its processor is a 1.7 GHz Realtek RTD1619B Quad-Core processor with 1GB of DDR4 RAM, allowing users to access commonly used files and apps. There are also two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 connections for connecting external devices, and network communication is provided by the inbuilt Gigabit Ethernet connector, which allows your saved data to be shared with users across the network. Data may also be accessed remotely via the free iOS and Android apps. The DS124 NAS Storage offers RAID Basic for individuals who require RAID capability. The Synology DS124 NAS Enclosure has been designed to be energy efficient. It not only has a 60 x 60mm fan to keep the system cool at all times, but it also has a noise-dampening design with a rating of 19 dBA for silent operation. To further reduce power consumption and operating costs, the server supports many scheduled power on/off cycles and hard disk hibernation.
